ALL OUR FURNITURE ARE MANUFACTURED TO ORDER
A minimum of 65% deposit is payable to confirm your order. Manufacturing will not start until the deposit has been received. The remainder is payable when your set has arrived at the premises of Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd.
When customized furniture are ordered, the full amount needs to be paid to confirm your order.
When the deposit is paid, we accept that you have read, understand and accept the terms and conditions.
Depending on the design and factory workload, the waiting period may take anything from 3 weeks up to two months.
We do try our best to have the furniture delivered to our premises within the specified time frame.
Deliveries to Upington may be delayed due to availability of fabrics, backlog of orders, delivery schedules of the factory and even due to bad weather.
Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd can not be held liable for any delays from the factory due to circumstances outside of our control.
Cancellations during the first 7 days - 30% Cancellation Fee will be charged and deducted from your deposit. The rest will be refunded.
Cancellations after day 7 - No cash refunds.
This is applicable when purchasing any of the products of Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd.
NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE FIRST 24 HOURS WHEN A CUSTOM DESIGNED SET WERE ORDERED!
The prices displayed in our catalogue and on Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd website are quoted in South African Rands Exclusive of Value Added Taxation (‘VAT’) and are valid and effective only in South Africa. Prices are subject to change.
Products and prices displayed in our catalogue and on Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd website may vary from time to time. The prices displayed on our website for our products represent the full list price of the product itself, excluding VAT. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items may be incorrectly priced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before continuing with the order or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation
Ownership of the Goods:
Ownership of the goods will rest with Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd until payment has been received in full. Payment of the full value of the order is required before collection can be authorized or delivery can be arranged.
All furniture arrives at our premises fully wrapped. For us to be able to inspect all the furniture for any damages, we need to remove all the wrapping. We do not re-wrap any furniture, but will do so at an extra charge if requested by the customer.
Unfortunately we do not do any deliveries ourselves, yet. The customer has to arrange for collection at our premises.
In case the customer is unable to arrange collection, Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd can arrange delivery by using a 3rd party. The cost of delivery will be added to the outstanding amount will be payable by the customer.
ALL DELIVERIES WILL ONLY BE DONE ONCE THE FULL OUTSTANDING BALANCE HAS BEEN PAID AND THE AMOUNT HAS CLEARED IN OUR BANK ACCOUNT.
DISCLAIMER: The customer will not be able to hold Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd liable for any damages that may occur during the transportation of any of the sets, whether transported by the customer, ourselves, or a 3rd party.
Risk of loss
Customers who elect to collect from Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd premises unconditionally agree and accept that the risk of loss and title for such items passes to you at the time of collection by you or your appointed agent. The risk of loss and title passes to you, the customer, upon delivery as evidenced by the signature of the person taking delivery, on our copy of the delivery note
All furniture displayed and sold by Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd is subject to stringent quality control standards. Should a customer not be satisfied with any product received within 7 days from date of receipt, Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd will endeavour to repair or replace the item in question. Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd does not refund or offer in store credit as all goods are custom made to client’s specifications. In the instance that an item has to be returned to the factory to be repaired or replaced, it is the responsibility of the customer to deliver the item to the premises of Upington Online Furniture. Turn around time for the above mentioned is approximately 8 weeks from when the item has been sent to the factory.
The weight limits are displayed on the individual product pages on our website. These weight limits act as a guide line for persons who will be using the sets on a regular basis. It is the responsibility of the customer to take these limits into consideration when ordering a set. Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd can not be held responsible if a set is damaged due to the weight limit being exceeded.
Intellectual Property Rights:
You acknowledge that we own the intellectual property rights in and to this website and the data, and that the unauthorised use thereof is expressly prohibited. The word or mark "Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd” however represented, including stylized representation, all associated logos and symbols and combinations of any of the foregoing with another word or mark, used on this site, are the trademarks of Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd.
The colours of our products shown on this website may look different on your computer compared with the colour of the actual product. This is because different computers display colours differently depending on the type of computer screen (LCD, plasma, desktop, laptop etc). For this reason, it is strongly recommended that you visit our premises to see the actual colour of the item. Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for any mistakes in ordering items whose actual colour is different from that appearing on the website as viewed on your computer. Colour will vary from piece to piece and the Company does not guarantee the dye lot. Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd shall have no liability for variations in colour, dye lot or shade, please allow for a 10% colour variation in samples. There may also be inherent imperfections in certain fibres, metals, leathers or fabrics. None of the foregoing shall be considered defects
Prevailing South African law will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Upington Online Furniture (Pty) Ltd or its affiliates.
All our lounge suites and headboards have a 1 Year warranty, unless otherwise specified on the invoice.
The warranty is on the structure ONLY. Unfortunately the warranty does not include the fabric, as we can not determine or control how the set is taken care of.
